For its part, the TRYO Aerospace & Electronics group comprises the TRYO Aerospace Flight Segment company and RYMSA RF, which, in turn, owns 99.8% shares of the company Radiación y Microondas México, S.A. de CV and 20% shares of the North American Mega Industries LLC company.

José Julián Echevarría has had a long career path in SENER, a group he joined in 1989 and where he has been working professionally ever since. He began as an engineer in the Structures and Mechanisms Section and in 2004 was appointed Director of Operations of Aerospace in Bilbao and later held the same position for the entire SENER Aerospace business unit. In 2013, he was appointed General Manager for this business unit. After the acquisition of the TRYO Aerospace & Electronics group, he has been chosen Managing Director of the recently created Aerospace area of the SENER group. He holds a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería (ETSI) (Higher College of Technology) in Bilbao and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Deusto.
The main aerospace activities undertaken by SENER are: Space, where it develops electromechanical components and systems, navigation systems (GNC/AOCS), communications systems, and Astronomy and Optics; Defense, with electromechanical systems, communications systems and helicopter modernization services; and Aeronautics, with engineering services and equipment and machinery manufacturing services. With more than 50 years experience, SENER develops with complete reliability its activity in the institutional market and has been gaining the capabilities needed to secure comprehensive industrial packages in major programs. For its side, TRYO brings more than 30 years experience and more than 1,400 systems contracted for satellites in the aerospace sector, with a 65% establishment on the commercial market (Telecom). The new SENER Aerospace area is born from the SENER and TRYO union, thanks to their highly complementarity both in terms of technology and markets, with the aim to offer more comprehensive communications systems and the challenge of increasingly focus into product.
